Accounts
Accounts are used in Accounted to organize and sort transactions. Transactions move money from one account to another.

Examples of Accounts would be your bank account, a credit card account, several expense accounts (telephone bill, professional fees, etc), income accounts (sales, services, etc), and the other special account types.

Accounts can have "associations." Associations are used to visually group several accounts under one heading in the accounts lists. This is a helpful way of maintaining accounts from multiple entities in one Accounted data file.
