General Preferences

The general section of the Preferences Window allows you to setup the order of the transactions list, as well as backup options.

There are benefits to sorting the transaction list in either direction, and you can select whichever mode you prefer. However if you are having performance issues and it is taking more than a second to load you entire transaction list, you may want to use Reverse Chronological order, so you can modify items as the list loads.

The backup options allow you to set when Accounted will automatically make a copy of your data file. The backups will only be made if Accounted is running.
