The program behavior section of the Preferences Window allows you to set how the program will act in certain situations.

The transaction list behavior section is where you can setup what will happen with certain key-presses in the transaction lists in the program. You can also have Accounted ask for confirmation to save row changes.

If you setup recurring transactions, Accounted will remind you when there are recurred items available. You can setup the interval between notifications in the Program Behavior section.
