The ability to track and reference correspondence with your clients can be the difference between a successful project and a lost client. New to Studiometry 9 are many great features that help you organize and link emails, phone calls, and correspondences to the rest of your Studiometry data.

Mail Integration

Studiometry can now integrate directly with Apple Mail and several other popular email programs. Once set up, emails will be automatically imported into Studiometry as Logs — they will even link to your Clients, Projects, and Contacts based on the content of the email!

We've also improved controls for emails sent from Studiometry:

• You can now set default Cc/Bcc addresses for all outgoing mail
• Customizable subject and body content for Invoice and Report emails
• Improved SSL support
• Option to auto-capture sent emails as Logs

Contact Improvements

Contact lists have been redesigned for both beauty and function. New and improved Contact lists display much more information, and a refined Contact entry interface makes for quicker, simpler data entry requiring far fewer clicks.

We've also added many Contact-related features:

• Completely customizable contact fields let you add any number of text snippets, dates, and URLs to Contact records
• Associate contacts to multiple Clients
• Independent Contacts that aren't associated with any Clients
• Merge Contacts while maintaining links to Clients

Client Statements, Project "Quoted vs Actual" Report, New Summaries

Plenty of new reports and summaries have been added for Studiometry 9. New Client Statements show a running balance of invoices and payments for specific clients. A new program-wide Project Quoted vs. Actual Report gives you a quick overview of where all of your current projects stand and lets you see what's going over budget.

PDF Capabilities

Now you can create, save and send PDFs for Invoices, Reports and more — making them much more presentable for your clients.

Profitability and Cost-Rate Tracking

Hourly items can now also have cost-rates in addition to standard rates. This lets you track how much you're paying per hour based on employee, work type, or manual entry. This will also tie in with the existing unit-cost features to let you automatically calculate profitability for your projects, employees, and more.
