Blazing Fast
Studiometry 6 uses a brand new SQL database to store and load your data. What does this really mean to you?
- Studiometry Launches Faster. One test file with 11,000 debt/credit items loaded in 9 seconds with Studiometry 6 as opposed to nearly 5 minutes with Studiometry 5.x.
- Studiometry instantly saves any changes to your data file. No longer will you need to wait for a periodic save to be sure the data has been saved to disk. Change a project's name, for example, and it is instantly saved in your database.
- Studiometry Quits Faster. Instant data saving means Studiometry doesn't need to manually save all of your data when quitting.
- Smaller data files. You can expect your data file to be roughly a quarter of the size it used to be.

Using the new Item Sets you can now create Itemized Estimates. Studiometry gives you the option of having Itemized, Entered, or Calculated Estimate amounts for your projects. Itemized estimates create Estimated Debt/Credit items that can be used on reports with your Report Estimate Template.
