Quick-Sync Studiometry Touch

If you don’t often change locations or IP address when syncing from Studiometry Touch to Studiometry, you can enable to Auto-Sync feature to make the syncing much “quicker.” To do this, go to Studiometry Touch’s Settings > Network Settings section and turn on Auto-Connect.

When this is enabled, Studiometry Touch will automatically connect to the most recent server and take one step out of syncing with Studiometry. This means you just hit Sync and the syncing window will popup, sync, and then disappear without any user interaction required.

 







Selecting from lists in Studiometry Touch

Studiometry Touch gives you a couple of ways to select an item from a list of items, such as Project Statuses. The first way you can select from a list while editing a Project is to tap on the row to “select” the row and bring up the selector view giving you all of the elements on the list.

This gives you quick and convenient way to flip through the available statuses and quickly select a status without having to go to a separate view. This works great until your lists get too large or if you simply want more space to view the available items in the list. If you’d like to bring up a full-window view of all of the items in this list, you can simply tap the disclosure indicator (the blue circle with the white arrow in it) to bring up a new window showing all of the items in the list.

Here you can select any item and then you will be brought back to the editing view with the new item selected. This is a common interface element in Studiometry, used to select Project Categories and Statuses, Client Categories, Debt Categories and Employees, and more. We wanted to give Studiometry Touch an easier way of editing many fields quickly, while still allowing you to use the entire screen if needed. This solution is the best of both worlds.

The day is finally here: Studiometry Touch has been approved by Apple and can be downloaded immediately from the App Store. The ultimate organizational tool for professionals is now available for your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.

Studiometry Touch Submitted to Apple — Studiometry 7.1 Available Today

After more than 9 months of hard work, Studiometry Touch has finally been submitted to Apple’s App Store! We’re hoping for a quick approval from Apple so that everyone who’s been patiently waiting for the release can get the app as soon as possible.

Studiometry 7.1, which is required for syncing with Studiometry Touch, is available today as a free download for registered Studiometry 7.x users. If you’re still on Studiometry 6.x or older, you can upgrade for a discounted price at our store.

As with all of our products, we plan to update Studiometry Touch regularly, adding new features that didn’t make it into the 1.0 release as well as future features planned for Studiometry 8.0 and beyond. This makes Studiometry Touch more than just a remote-data-viewer; it’s a full-fledged business application that you can bring with you anywhere in the world.

Studiometry Touch just around the corner!

We’re in the final stages of beta testing Studiometry Touch and everything is going very well! We expect to submit the program to the App store in late March/early April. As we all know, it can take anywhere from one week to several months for Apple to approve the program, but we’re hoping we’ll get some good luck and a quick approval.
